Located in Middletown, the Twelfth District Court of Appeals is responsible for hearing appeals from eight counties in southern Ohio, including Clermont County. The Common Pleas Clerk of Courts receives, manages, and files all documents relating to cases which have been appealed to the Twelfth District, including cases from Common Pleas, Juvenile Court, Probate Court, and Municipal Court. The Twelfth District requires a Notice of Appeal be filed within 30 days of the trial court's final appealable entry.  Appellate Court rules are available on the Twelfth District's website.
